About Me
I am a BACP Accredited counsellor, very experienced in helping people overcome a range of personal issues. Some of the areas I can help you work through include:

- low self esteem
- postnatal issues
- disordered eating and body image
- stress
- depression
- bereavement and loss
- anger management
- relationship/family issues
- divorce/separation
- self harm
However, whatever your personal and unique struggle, I am ready to listen and talk about it with you. Feel free to contact me and we can chat about creating a plan that's right for you.
I have lots of experience in helping mothers who have recently had children and are struggling with the challenges of parenthood. I lead therapeutic support groups for new mums on behalf of a local counselling charity.
What are my qualifications?
I am a fully qualified counsellor, holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Humanistic Therapeutic Counselling from Brighton University.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I adhere to its Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I am committed to the profession and regularly attend continued professional development courses (CPD) to enhance my initial qualifications.
I hold a Diploma in Practitioner Skills for Eating Disorders, awarded by National Centre for Eating Disorders.
Why did I become a counsellor?
My own life-changing experience of counselling inspired me to retrain in the profession. Because of my own journey, I believe passionately that counselling can empower people to make positive changes to their lives.
